Tyler Davis, PMHNP-BC

PMHNP-BC · ADHD-CCSP Certified · Adult ADHD & Mood Specialist

Tyler is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and one of a small group of clinicians nationally to hold the ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) certification. She built her practice around the adults the traditional mental health system tends to miss — high-functioning professionals, late-diagnosed women, founders, clinicians, and creatives whose ADHD, anxiety, or burnout has been quietly compounding for years.

Every evaluation she runs is thorough, unhurried, and evidence-based — built to give you something most psychiatric visits don't: a clear explanation of what's actually going on and a treatment plan you can start on promptly, often within the same week when availability allows.

Approach

How Tyler practices

Thorough, unhurried evaluations

No rushed med checks. Your first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation with validated screeners (ASRS-v1.1, CAARS-2, GAD-7, PHQ-9), developmental history, and differential diagnosis.

Evidence-based, not algorithmic

Treatment plans pull from current psychiatric literature, ADHD-CCSP-trained protocols, and shared decision making — not insurance-driven shortcuts.

Medication done carefully

Thoughtful trials, transparent conversations about benefits and side effects, and ongoing titration — always within DEA, Ryan Haight, and state telehealth requirements. Stimulant and non-stimulant options are considered when clinically appropriate.

Beyond the prescription

Practical coaching on executive function, sleep, structure, and nervous system regulation woven into every visit — because medication alone is rarely the whole answer.

Affirming, non-pathologizing

Neurodivergence-affirming care for ADHD and AuDHD adults, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trauma-informed.

Responsive access

New patient evaluations are often available within the same week, subject to availability — members receive priority scheduling. Existing patients get secure async messaging between visits.

Who Tyler works with

If any of this sounds familiar

  • You've been told you're "too high-functioning" to have ADHD.
  • You were diagnosed as an adult — or you're sure you should have been.
  • Therapy helped, but something underneath never quite resolved.
  • Your previous psychiatrist gave you a quick visit and a prescription.
  • You're a woman whose ADHD was missed in childhood.
  • You're a clinician, founder, or high performer running on fumes.
  • You suspect burnout but the depression treatment isn't landing.
  • You want a provider who will actually explain what's happening in your brain.
Personal

A note from Tyler

“The adults I work with are usually exhausted by the time they find me. They've been Googling at 2 a.m., compensating at work, masking in their relationships, and wondering why everything feels harder than it should. My job is to slow that down — to actually look at what's happening, name it correctly, and build a plan that gives you your bandwidth back.”
